Exclusion Notice Scheme

The Exclusion Notice Scheme is used to ban troublemakers and persistent offenders from all members premises.

"Banned from one banned from all"

These Exclusion Notices are issued by the LBAC partnership and may be served, at the request of LBAC, by Police officers.

The success of this scheme focuses on improving communication between businesses, the police, PCSO’s, CCTV and other key agencies. The police provide photographs of the most prolific, current and active individuals involved in crime, disorder and anti social behaviour that affect businesses.
• Members submit incident reports to the Business Crime Manager to enable information to be collated.
• The partnership operates within strict protocols (agreed by ACPO and the Office of the Information Commissioner) and is based on the successful model rolled out in towns and cities nationwide.
• The Business Crime Manager collects analyses and disseminates information about the most active offenders. Police photographs help members to identify these individuals and disrupt their activity.
• The key to the scheme’s success is for business to work smarter by working together as partners more effectively
• The information collated helps drive the Exclusion Notice scheme.
